First Training - 21st September
An introduction to sailing in the Royal Irish Yacht Club, Dún Laoghaire - followed by a social in Wetherspoons! No prior experience needed! 12:30pm - 3pm
Sailing talk
Dan our sailing captain will give us a talk on team racing, while we eat free pizza courtesy of our sponsors Bank of Ireland! Followed by a few cold ones in the clubhouse. 6:30pm Bank of Ireland, Montrose
Freshers Weekend - Sat 28th Sept - Bundoran
We will be hosting training in the morning in the Royal Irish Yacht Club followed by a road trip to Bundoran. We willl have a BBQ upon arrival before going to the infamous Paris Nightclub! A fantastic way to meet other freshers and sailing club members.
IUSA Southerns - 12th/13th Oct - Dingle
We will be competing in a two day team racing event against all other Irish sailing universities. Four of these events will take place on the lead up to the Inter-Varsities Championship!
